Custom cosmetic packaging

Start with an existing WDPACK model or bring a new shape and artwork. Explore design, mold, decoration and sample options for your project.

02 / DEFINE THE CONFIGURATION

Eight decisions make a useful packaging specification.

Record known targets and mark unknowns for sample or quotation review. WDPACK's catalogue does not assign fixed capacities, materials, colors or stock to every SKU online.

DecisionWhat to supply or compareWhat to confirm
01 / ApplicationFormula type, viscosity and intended useCompatibility and dispensing route
02 / Base modelSKU, reference pack or marked drawingExisting model or new mold scope
03 / Body & materialTarget fill, outer-size limits and any material preferenceAvailable size, material and drawing dimensions for the SKU
04 / ComponentsPump, sprayer, cap, liner or insertActual assembled combination and fit

06 / QuantityFirst order and forecast volumeSKU-specific stock, MOQ and quotation
07 / AcceptanceTests important to your filled packApproved sample and written criteria
08 / DeliveryMarket, destination and packing needsCarton configuration, route and terms

For an existing model, begin with the SKU. For a new shape, add a reference or drawing showing exactly what changes.

Prepare these requirements
03 / APPROVE BEFORE BULK

Each handoff should leave a clear decision.

04 / MAKE THE QUOTATION COMPARABLE

Ask for the scope behind the price.

A model photo is not a purchase specification. State the chosen pack and ask which parts, proofing work and delivery terms the quotation includes.

Pack & components

Exact SKU, capacity, bottle, pump, cap, liner and assembly status.

Design & decoration

Artwork, process, mold work if needed and the approved appearance reference.

Proofing & inspection

Sample type, any charge, approval points and agreed batch checks.

Packing & delivery

Order quantity, carton configuration, destination, transport and lead-time terms.

WDPACK's published sample guide does not establish a bulk production lead time or a fixed tooling price. Confirm these for the actual project.

PLAN A PRODUCT LINE

One visual language, several packaging jobs.

A serum, cream and lotion can look related on the shelf while using different closures and dispensing systems. Select a real model for each formula first, then carry the shared color, artwork hierarchy and finish through the approved samples.

MATCH THE ROUTE TO YOUR LAUNCH

Test, brand and repeat with a clear reference.

The right first order depends on what the brand still needs to learn. Keep each decision tied to a named SKU, approved sample and written specification.

01 / MARKET TEST

Learn from an existing format

Compare catalogue models and request an available physical sample. Ask whether the chosen stock configuration qualifies for a lower minimum; some stocked bottles may start at 300 pieces.

Confirm: live stock, parts, sample and eligible quantity.
02 / BRANDED RUN

Prove the line in its final finish

Set artwork, color references and decoration for every selected pack. Review decorated and assembled samples before fixing the first bulk order.

Confirm: proofing cost, normal MOQ, acceptance and delivery terms.
03 / REPEAT & EXTEND

Preserve the approved version

Keep the sample, drawing or artwork revision and component list with the order record. When adding a new format, check its function separately while carrying over the brand system.

Confirm: unchanged parts, batch checks and new-SKU proofing.

FROM REQUIREMENT TO APPROVAL

Make the choices visible before production
